Dr. Taha Özyürek is a graduate of Atatürk University, Faculty of Dentistry, where he received his DDS degree in 2010. He attended the Endodontics Program of Graduate Study offered by the Institute of Health Sciences at Ondokuz Mayıs University and graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Endodontics in 2015. Dr. Özyürek worked as a full-time doctor research assistant in the same department until 2018. After that, Dr. Özyürek worked full-time at the Department of Endodontics, Faculty of Dentistry at İstanbul Medeniyet University, between April 2018 and September 2021 as a chair of the Endodontic Department. Dr. Özyürek is currently working as an associate professor at Bahçeşehir University School of Dental Medicine, Head of the Department of Endodontics. He also works in his private clinic in İstanbul, limited to Endodontics. Dr. Özyürek has authored and co-authored more than 100 articles on various endodontic topics, especially about the mechanical properties of nickel-titanium files, in national and international peer-reviewed and indexed journals. Furthermore, Dr. Özyürek is working as a reviewer for many indexed international journals. In addition, Dr. Özyürek has been giving several lectures, workshops, and hands-on courses worldwide. Dr. Özyürek is an active member of the Turkish Dental Association (TDB) and the Turkish Endodontic Society (TED).
